Destroying the National Park system doesn’t seem to be an ideological thing for the Trump administration. (Are they ideological about anything?) I would expect that Republicans and Democrats treasure our National Parks equally. But, maybe I’m wrong about that. It just seems like the Trump administration is destroying our parks just for the sake of destroying them. It’s what they do.
