Ice dancing

I’m as ambivalent as the next guy about ice dancing. But I find this story incredible: The 2 dominant dance teams in the world — one from Canada and one from France — share the same coaches, a married couple. The French team trains in Canada (!) because this coaching team is so good. This couple also trains the national champion dance teams from the US, Spain, Denmark, Armenia and Bulgaria. That’s an incredible client list.

Can you imagine one coaching couple training most of the top golfers or tennis players in the world? I can’t. This couple must be amazingly good at what they do. They are Marie-France Dubreuil and Patrice Lauzon, both French Canadians.

Now, let us never speak of this again.
